Marcos Alonso had committed his long-term to Chelsea Football Club, signing a contract extension that runs until 2023.

Alonso, who is close to making 100 appearances for Chelsea since joining them from Italian outfit Fiorentina in 2016, has scored 15 goals.

"I am so happy to stay here longer and to keep playing for one of the best teams in the world. It’s been a very good two seasons and I am looking forward to more," said Alonso.
