With the prospect of an outstanding football weekend, this could be your chance to yield proper dividends with Betin Kenya.

The Premier League returns this Saturday, with eight mouthwatering clashes scheduled to complete your weekend.

West Ham v Manchester United (2:30 pm)

You will have to forgo the “there’s always something wrong about the early kick-off” chorus and put your money where your mouth is as West Ham welcome embattled Manchester United at the London Stadium.

Manuel Pellegrini’s job is hanging by a thread – so is Jose Mourinho’s – some would say. The Hammers have only won one of their last 19 meetings in the Premier League against the Red Devils, drawing five and losing 13. The only win came in 2016 at Upton Park. In both of their visits to the London Stadium, Mourinho’s men have kept two clean sheets, winning 2-0 in January 2017 and a goalless draw in May. Point to note – Man United have only lost twice in 25 matches against West Ham in all competitions – both defeats happened in London.

Arsenal v Watford (5:00 pm)

Arsenal will be looking to continue with their good run of form as they welcome and inspired Watford side to the Emirates Stadium. Watford are currently 4th in the PL standings with 13 points after 6 games. The Gunners have managed to come out victorious in eight of their last 10 PL games against the Hornets, with the two defeats coming in the last three meetings. In all competitions, Javi Garcia’s men have garnered three wins in their last six fixtures against Unai Emery’s men. Point to note, this new look Arsenal side will hold on to history – failing to hit the back of the net in two of their last 36 games at home in the League.

Huddersfield Town v Tottenham (5:00 pm)

Mauricio Pochettino will want his side to produce performances befitting of title contenders as they travel to the John Smith Stadium to face Huddersfield Town.

Last season, the Terriers lost on all occasion they met Spurs in the PL, conceding six and scoring only once. Spurs, on the other hand, are unbeaten in each of their last seven games against David Wanger’s men in all competitions. Point to note – Huddersfield, have failed to bag a goal in each of their last five PL games at home, currently the longest ‘home-goal drought’ by a side – since Southampton’s six-game run in 2017. Tottenham have scored in 31 of their last 32 games in the league. They should score.

Manchester City v Brighton and Hove Albion (5:00pm)

‘More of the same please!’ - Reigning champions Manchester City welcome giant-slayers Brighton and Hove Albion to the Etihad Stadium, hoping to close the gap on current league leaders Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola admitted that his players would not be the same as last season, but has showed signs of trying to improve perfomances – having won two on the trot. Last season, the Cityzens won each time they met the Seagulls, scoring five goals. Point to note, they will be looking to make another piece of history, as they have never beaten Brighton three times in a row while in the top tiers of English football. Sadly, Brighton have never won away at Man City in all competitions.

Chelsea v Liverpool

What a way to end our Saturday. Just after cruely eliminating them in the EFL Carabao Cup on Wednesday, Chelsea welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge in what is expected to be one of the ‘games of the season’.

Undoubtedly, Chelsea and Liverpool are by far the best team in the PL so far – simply because they attack…and attack…and attack. Since Jose Mourinho’s 2004-06 era, the Blues have not managed to win consecutive home Premier League games against the Reds. No side has scored more goals in the first half that Liverpool this season – they are also yet to concede in the first half. In his last six PL starts against Liverpool, French striker Olivier Giroud has hit the back of the net five times. Point to note – in his last two PL games at home, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has scored four times.
