Manchester City have been given an honorary WWE Championship belt to celebrate their Premier League title win.

Personalised with the club badge on each side, the special belt was revealed by wrestling legend Triple H on social media.

City's stars were eager to get their hands on the prize, with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus posing with the gold.

On Sunday, City will lift the Premier League title after a record-breaking season.

They confirmed top spot with five games left to play, having also become the fastest team to reach 100 goals scored and also secure the most consecutive wins in a single campaign.

After revealing the belt on social media, Triple H offered congratulations to City on behalf of the WWE.

He wrote: "From @WWE to@ManCity... Congratulations! #Champions".

Meanwhile, City's Premier League rivals have been warned that the Blues are gearing up for an era of dominance in the Premier League.

“Pep’s created something that you know is long-standing and I think they can go from here.

“I think they’ll get even better. I think they’ve got a big chance [of back-to-back titles].

“I’m getting old, but I hope to be around to see a few more trophies at this club.

“We’ve got a very young side now. He’s looking to the future - a long way in front as well.”
