Liverpool and Arsenal have been warned that Thomas Lemar is not for sale at any price.

The Premier League clubs both remain interested in signing the Monaco star after failing to strike a deal for him last summer.

However, the Ligue 1 club's vice president Vadim Vasilyev insists Lemar is going nowhere for the time being.

"He will stay at Monaco until the end of the season 100 per cent," Vasilyev told French radio station RMC.

"If Liverpool or Arsenal come with a big offer before the end of the market? This is not relevant.

"We will say no because the objectives are clear. Without important players like Lemar, we will not succeed."

Liverpool lost Philippe Coutinho at the beginning of the window, but Jurgen Klopp is willing to wait until the summer for a 'solution'.

"Philippe Coutinho is not going to be replaced in this transfer window," Klopp said. "It's about using our own tools, players and tactics.

"The solution is not out there on the transfer market at the moment. We always have open eyes, but we really think we have to use our players.

"In the long-term, we will do a lot, in the short-term, I don't think so."

Arsenal are trying to push through a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before Wednesday's deadline.
