AFC Leopards have pulled out of the Kenya Premier League Super Cup tie against Gor Mahia. The curtain raiser was to take place at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on January 28 but the club has withdrawn citing financial constraint as was confirmed by the club's Organizing Secretary Timothy Lilumbi.
Lilumbi cited lack of sponsors as the Kenya Premier League has demanded them to foot all their bills that include player’s allowances and accommodation. They are not able to pay all the bills and thus withdrawing and focusing on the league and CAF confederations Cup.
