If there is any golfer who enjoys Christmas today, then it is none other than Senior Martin Wahome.

Wahome, often known as Father of Champions, earned his Christmas gift after sinking a rare birdie to chalk up victory in the club nite golf tournament at the par 71 seaside Mombasa golf course at the weekend.

Playing off  handicap 10, Wahome beat 100 golfers after posting an eight over par 79 gross for 69 nett to take the overall title.

He’s the father of South African based Kenyan International Junior Mathew Wahome, former National Junior Player Jeremy Wahome and an upcoming youngster Andrew Wahome.

Wahome’s victory came after sinking a birdie on the par four-tenth hole and added eight level pars despite playing a mixed bogey shots on both nines.
