Croatian and Real Madrid midfield dynamo Luka Modric has been caught up in a tax case which could make him pay huge sums of money in fines or serve a jail term.
Media reports from the Spanish capital Madrid revealed on Thursday morning that Modric and his wife Vanja are being investigated by the Spanish prosecutors, after failing to pay their taxes in 2013 and 2014.
