Harambee Starlets face host and defending champions Zimbabwe in the second semi-final of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) today at Barbourfields Stadium from 5pm Kenyan time.

Three-time winners, South Africa’s Banyana Banyana face Zambia’s Shepolopolo in the first semi-final set for 2pm.

Harambee Starlets coach Richard Kanyi said his team is ready for the tough encounter.

“We have prepared well for the match. It won’t be easy, but the girls have really done well in training and we expect good results,” Kanyi said.

Starlets will welcome back top scorer Neddy Atieno and captain Wendy Achieng’, who were rested in the 1-0 win over Swaziland.

“The squad is full house and we are really looking forward to the match. We have worked on a few challenges we had in the previous matches, like converting our chances,” said Kanyi.
