Kylian Mbappe is set to join Real Madrid – but only after the Spanish champions have sold Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez.

PSG and Real Madrid are involved in a tug-of-war over the 18-year-old, who has scored 27 goals in 54 appearances for Monaco.

PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi is said to be willing to spare no expense in his pursuit of the highly-rated striker.

Reports indicate that PSG will double the wages offered by Real Madrid, taking Mbappe’s earnings to £10.5m-a-year after tax.

PSG have also promised the player that he would immediately become an important part of the first team.

Last week Real Madrid president Florentino Perez actually warned Mbappe that he could not guarantee him a regular role in Zinedine Zidane’s side.
