The English Premier League season comes to a close today with focus on the top four taking centre stage.

But first things first. Former champions Leicester City were the biggest disappointment after flirting with relegation hardly one year after making history by emerging English champions.

It had to take the sacking of Claudio Ranieri for the Foxes to turn around their season. But I am still disappointed that the team lost 6-1 to Tottenham on Thursday night.

It looks like the players have gone back to their bad habits after getting used to the new manager Craig Shakespeare.

However, I am not surprised at all by this. It is all normal for players to pick up every time a new manager comes on board, but they tend to settle after some time and this is what happened to Leicester.

They should, however, easily win against Bournemouth today at home. The Foxes have an unbeaten home run since Shakespeare came on board.

Back to the top four battle, it is all down to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City though the real battle should be between the Gunners and the Reds.

Arsenal fancied with 1.41 face Everton who have odds of 7.58 on www.dafabet.co.ke at home must win to keep their top four ambitions alive.

Lethal attack

It will not be an easy one though with the Toffees boasting a lethal attack striker Romelu Lukaku, who is fancied with favourable odds of 11.75 to finish top goal scorer.

The Reds should easily beat Middlesbrough and with it grab their top four finish. Middlesbrough who are at fantastic odds of 27.51 are already relegated and have no motivation to deny Liverpool. However, the Reds can be inconsistent sometimes and could let down their fans on the last day.

Man City with odds of 1.26 also need a win at home against Watford who are at 11.84 to be assured of Champions League football next season. Despite the league ending I understand the dafabet daily jackpot will continue as scheduled.
