Chelsea great John Terry will leave the club at the end of the season, the Premier League leaders announced on Monday.

"John Terry and Chelsea Football Club today jointly announce our captain will leave the club at the end of the season," said a club statement.

The man himself has said he will decide on his future in due course, so what are his options?

Here are six possible destinations for the former England skipper, according to the mirror.

MLS (Major League Soccer)

New York City FC and LA Galaxy will be interested in Terry, who has previously expressed an interest in moving to the MLS at some point.

China

Meanwhile, Terry has already been offered one last big pay day in the Chinese Super League.

He was a huge hit in the Far Eastern nation when he went on a one-man ambassadorial tour of Guangzhou in the summer of 2015 .

Turkey

A number of Turkish sides have also shown their interest in signing Terry when he leaves Chelsea.

Qatar

Terry was previously offered a chance to play there by ex- Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola , during his time at Al-Arabi.

West Brom

The West Brom boss enquired over Terry's availability in January and admitted he would be interested in signing him.

Move into coaching

Terry has made his managerial ambitions no secret in the past and he could opt to get a head start by focusing on working his way up the coaching ladder next summer.A
