SCHOOLS: Alliance dominate school games

Alliance High School dominated the Arberdare regional finals held at the school last weekend. In rugby, the team beat Mugumu 49-7 and stopped Nyahururu 54-0 before trouncing Mangu 13-10. Mangu, on the other hand, trounced Nyahururu 24-10 and Mugumu 46-0.
Both Mangu and Alliance have made it to the semi-finals. Mangu will take on Kerugoya boys while Alliance High School tackles Ruthagati Boys.
In basketball, Alliance edged out Mangu 66-22 in the county finals. Earlier, they had beaten Thika School 59-29, St Lucy 89-17, and Nyahururu 121-23. In the girls' category, Alliance Girls topped the girls pool after the round-robin.
