It was indeed William Kaguta’s day when he sank four rare birdies to win the 2017 Club trophy at the par 71 Nyali Golf and Country Club course in Mombasa County at the weekend.
Playing off handicap 3, the home golfer emerged the overall winner on a countback score of 41 points after beating a team of 98 golfers in the one-day 18-holes tournament that was sponsored by the club and friends.
