African football hopes to scale new heights after the election of Ahmad Ahmad as the new boss of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The Madagascar FA President had the backing of world football governing body boss Gianni Infantino ahead of yesterday’s elections and that means CAF will always have the support of Fifa in all its endeavours.
