FOOTBALL: Blow to clubs as court throws out suit

Former 2009 Kenya Premier League Champions Sofapaka and reigning Top Eight Champions Muhoroni youth have suffered a major setback in their quest to be included in the 2017 Premier League calendar.

This is after the court threw out their case after it emerged that they had sued the wrong parties. The two teams were relegated by Football Kenya Federation chiefs last month and replaced with National Super League teams KCB and Vihiga United for allegedly failing to comply with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Club Licensing Regulations.
