Home club’s Dominic Makau survived narrowly to win the Club trophy on a two way count-back score of 36 stableford points at the par 71 Nyali Golf and Country course in Mombasa at the weekend.

The handicap 13 golfer, who was also the club’s former captain rolled a total of eight level pars, four in each nine and played the rest of the 18 holes with mixed bogey shots to snatch the lead.
