KCB on Saturday showed why they will not be easy pushovers in the Kenya Cup this season after humbling Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) RFC 41-0 in Kakamega.

Davis Chenge gave the bankers a 5-0 lead inside the opening 10 minutes before Esau Adunga stretched the scores to 10-0 with both conversion attempts from Isaac Njoroge sailing wide.

Martin Owila would grab KCB's third try which would be converted by Darwin Mukidza who took over the kicking duties after Njoroge's two misses.

In the final half, Esau Adunga and Martin Owila grabbed their braces for a 31-0 lead before Mukidza added a penalty to take the scores to 34-0.

Owila would have the last laugh after completing his hat trick to seal the banker's 41-0 win.
The win saw the Curtis Olago led side to maintain their second spot on 10 points and a goal difference of 79 points. KCB opened the season with a 38-0 win over Kenya Harlequin.

In Nairobi, last season's runners up Menegnai Oilers picked their second win of the season in a 24-10 win over Kenya Harlequins at the

RFUEA Grounds.
Lucky Dewald gave the hosts a 3-0 lead after converting a penalty before returning Kenya Simbas duo of John Okoth and Geoffrey Ominde combined for a 7-3 lead.

The scores were pushed to 12-3 after Hillary Malweyi touchdown that Ominde failed to convert as the two sides headed for half time.
In the second half, Steve Munga crossed over the whitewash as Ominde added the extras for a 17-3 lead. Munga would seal the win moments later as Brain Waraba grabbed Quins only try of the game.
