Three people died after two vehicles collided along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway in Gilgil.
Gilgil Sub County Police commander John Onditi said that the accident involved a private car bound for Nairobi and a 14-seater matatu heading towards Nakuru.
"The private car was speeding at the Gilgil junction when the driver lost control of it and rammed into a matatu heading in the opposite direction," said Onditi.
