Five Chinese nationals arrested on December 23 while assembling illegal betting machines in Blankets Estate, Nakuru, will be arraigned in court on Monday.

County Criminal Investigations Officer David Wangai said the five could not be presented in court yesterday as expected since investigations were yet to be concluded.

“This is a serious case which requires us to establish facts before presenting the suspects in court,” said Wangai.

County Police Commander Stephen Matu said the suspects were found in possession of 169 assembled machines.
