Diana Nekoye, the 24-year-old former Mnet Face of Africa contestant has been questioned further by police following the death of her famous boyfriend who died while visiting her apartment.

Police officers who have been following the case asked the beauty to record another statement late last week following the death of Charlie Grieves-Cook who died after, allegedly falling off the model’s third floor apartment.

Grieves-Cook’s body was cremated on Friday in a low-key ceremony closely monitored by plainclothes police officers.

In her statement to the police, Nekoye, who was in the company of Grieves-Cook a freelance photographer before his death narrated a horrific first account of how the two fell into the hands of a gang at her Desert Rose Apartment house a week ago.

She told police that the gang forced its way into the house where they demanded to know the whereabouts of Charlie. According to the statement, when the gang struck, Charlie took cover at the balcony.

Nekoye told police that after the gang was gone, she rushed to the balcony and found Cook holding onto a metal bar, his legs hanging in the air.

She then went back to the house to get something that could help her pull him up. Upon returning to the balcony, he wasn’t there. Instead, his body lying on the concrete where he had fallen, most likely after running out of energy.

Lang’ata divisional police chief David Bunei said Nekoye was co-operating.

MondayBlues has also established that the model, who is still coming to terms with the tragedy, has relocated to her mother’s residence abandoning her ill-fated house.
