Deputy President William Ruto yesterday said Jubilee Party was united and focused on its development agenda.

The DP made the remarks at Kagwe in Lari constituency yesterday when he launched the construction of 21-kilometre Githunguri-Kagwe-Kimende road.

He said Jubilee was keen to deliver on its manifesto and promises. “We have no time for politicking and propaganda,” he said.

Earlier, the DP had also launched the construction of Wangige-Limuru road in Kabete constituency.

He announced that the Government planned to construct 550 kilometres of roads in the county and invest Sh40 billion in water projects.

Among the water projects is the Sh24 billion Karemenu dam.

The leaders who accompanied the deputy president included Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Senator Kimani Wamatangi, Woman Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba, Githunguri MP Gabriel Kago and Kimani Ichung’wa (Kikuyu).
