Narok, Kenya: A group of leaders from the Maasai community have warned against threats by the National Assembly to impeach Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph ole Lenku. The leaders have said that Lenku should not be blamed for the rising cases of insecurity in the country.
Members of the Narok County Assembly allied to CORD warned former Prime Minister Raila Odinga against the move by Opposition MPs to remove Lenku from office, saying they would reconsider their support for his (Raila’s) push for national dialogue.
