Kalonzo Musyoka warns of moles in the Wiper Party

Kitui, Kenya: Wiper Democratic party leader and former Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka has cautioned Makueni people against electing compromised candidates in the coming senatorial by-election, a seat left vacant after the death of Mutula Kilonzo.

Speaking after a church service, Kalonzo said there are candidates lining up for the seat who are politically wobbling with one leg in the Wiper party and the other in the Jubilee Alliance Coalition.

Making the remarks at St Martin Catholic Church, Matuu, the Wiper leader without naming names castigated the leaders who he said are pretending to be in the Wiper party but working for the ruling coalition and urged Makueni people not to accept them.

“It is totally improper and unacceptable for a leader who is easily compromised to think he or she can be trusted by Makueni voters to take over from the late Mutula. This political staggering should be strongly condemned,” Kalonzo said.
