Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti’s bid for the Machakos Gubernatorial bid received a boost when Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s wife, Ida, endorsed her candidature.Ida said the Youth Affairs and Sports Assistant minister is up to the task and urged Machakos residents to elect her.
“I hereby endorse Wavinya’s desire to be the Machakos County Governor. I taught her at Alliance Girls and I saw leadership in her. She was a trusted and dependable student,” said Ida. She was speaking at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos town where she was the chief guest during the launch of Wavinya’s campaign for the gubernatorial seat.
