Kenneth urges voters to assess leaders’ work

Kenya National Congress (KNC) presidential hopeful Peter Kenneth for the second day pressed on with campaigns in Kajiado North Constituency, asking voters to assess the performance of those seeking elective positions.

He urged voters to shun individuals who divide Kenyans along tribal lines and ensure they elect leaders who would transform the country.

Speaking at PCEA Kandisi church in Ong’ata Rongai, Kenneth advised locals to assess records of those seeking positions in the forthcoming polls.

He told them as they go to the polls they should elect leaders who will create opportunities for Kenyans who are less fortunate because that way life will improve in the society.

“Your former MP the late Prof George Saitoti had started a lot of good projects and you need someone who knows them and can continue from where he left in the few months left of this parliamentary term,” Kenneth said.

Move with speed

He asked those involved in talks between teachers and government to speed up in ending the stalemate because children were suffering at home.

“This is a crucial term when most are expecting to do their exams and it’s only fair that the parties get a solution fast to enable the children to get back to their studies and prepare for their exams,” he said.

Kenneth has been in Kajiado North to drum up support for KNC aspirant Peter Munene for area MP seat.
