Sickle cell anaemia is a blood disorder that is usually inherited, that causes red blood cells to contort into a sickle shape. This shape makes it difficult for them to pass through the blood vessels and cause pain. In today's episode, our reporter Saada Hassan talks with Dr. Fred Okinyi, the Chairperson of the Sickle Cell Federation of Kenya about sickle cell anaemia.
