Cabinet On Wheat Prices

Wheat farmers may just get the reprieve they have been hoping for, following cabinet’s order that all relevant ministries review the issues the farmers have raised. A cabinet meeting chaired by President Kibaki discussed farmers’ concerns on wheat prices, following recent changes in taxation. Cabinet awaits a report from the ministries involved, so that it can take the appropriate steps.
