University education alone cannot produce good leaders

The debate on whether elected leaders require university degrees as set out in Section 22 of the Elections Act No. 24 of 2011 should be viewed in light of the aspirations of Kenyans for a better quality of life.

Vision 2030 aims to create “a globally competitive and prosperous country with a high quality of life by 2030 and to transform Kenya into a newly-industrialising, middle-income country."
