Former Nakuru PC burial rites ceremony on

Preparations for the final burial rites for self-exiled brother to former Foreign Affairs minister Robert Ouko are in top gear.

Family sources disclosed that Barrack Mbaja, 78, died while undergoing treatment at a US-based hospital on Monday.

Mbaja, who is survived by a wife and four children, lived in Tacoma.

Before the murder of his brother, Mbaja served as deputy provincial commissioner for Nakuru in the now-defunct Rift Valley Province in 1985.

He was later transferred as the Deputy Secretary at the Attorney General’s office, where he got caught up in the midst of controversy surrounding Ouko's mysterious murder.

Mbaja was one of the key witnesses, but has now died with the secrets.
