Gang rapes Rongo University student and steals electronics

Rongo, Kenya: A female student of Rongo University was gang raped last Friday.

During the incident, the gang of five also robbed other students of mobile phones, laptops and other electronics.

According to Rongo OCPD Kisaka Muganda, the incident happened at a students' private residence.

Mr Muganda said the robbers had forced open the doors into the houses where the students live.

Rongo University College Principal Samuel Gudu condemned the incident and promised to beef up security.
