Alila loses in ODM, decamps to PDP

HOMABAY, KENYA: Homabay senate aspirant Hillary Alila who lost to Immigration minister Otieno Kajwang in the ODM nominations has now decamped to PDP.

Alila’s name was among the names that that party released last evening who will be vying for various posts in the March 4 general elections.

Party leader and former south Mugirango MP Omingo Magara will seek the Kisii County senate seat after he secured nomination while Enoc Kea Galgalu will use the party to seek the Tana River County senate.

Peter Bita Ondieki has been nominated by PDP to contest the Nyamira County gubernatorial seat while Rebecca Nyaanga and Brigid Ombati will run for women representative in Nyamira and Kisii County respectively.

The party has further released a list of 14 nominees who are seeking the Member of Parliament seats:

They include Daniel Ong'era Bogonko - Langata Constituency, Stephen Onsomu Nyarangi - Kitutu Chache North, Don Bosco Ooga Gichana - Kitutu Chache South, Edward Nyang'au Mauti - Bomachoge Chache, Otieno Ndolo Bob – Nyakach, Truphena Moraa Ochwang'i - Embakasi South, Wangira Aloise Okoba - Budalang'I, Robert Mbaabu - Igembe South, Eric Otieno Amuka – Rongo, Nyandusi Barclay Gisege - Nyaribari Masaba, John Rex Omolloh - Embakasi West, Tom Maisiba Marube – Bonchari, Innocent Ibongia Obiri – Bobas and Meshack Kengere Ondari - Nyaribari Chache.

PDP is among the 11 Cord alliance affiliates.
