After a three-year wait, Hwang Dong-hyuk, the creator and director of Squid Game, has released a trailer for Season Two. Surprisingly, he initially had no plans to write a second season, given that it took twelve years to convince a network to pick up the show. The Korean drama-horror series was such a hit that viewers began yearning for a second season.
Recently, Netflix released a fourteen-second sizzle reel confirming Squid Game's next season, which is set to launch later this year. In the clip, Season One's protagonist and winner, Seong Gi Hun, vows to find the organizer of the lethal games. Squid Game Season Two features new cast members from other South Korean shows on Netflix, including "Unlocked," "The Pirates," and "The Last Royal Treasure."
