Centum Chief Executive Officer James Mworia is to receive an African Business Leader of the Year Award from Corporate Council of Africa (CCA).
The award will be presented during the Council's third annual awards dinner dubbed "A Celebration of Excellence in US-Africa Business Relations" on December 16, 2014 in Washington DC. Mr Mworia would also speak at CCA Power Africa Working Group. He will receive the award in recognition of his efforts and outstanding achievement as Centum's CEO and Managing Director in the past six years. Under his leadership, Centum, in its ambitious 2009/2014 strategy period reorganised into three distinct business lines: Private Equity, Quoted Private Equity and Real Estate and Infrastructure.
