Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for corruption, has been admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) after his health allegedly deteriorated while incarcerated at the Industrial Area Prison.
Waititu's lawyer, John Swaka, confirmed on Friday, February 14 that his client was taken ill and admitted to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
