MKU's Simon Gicharu, Naomi Shaban get new appointments

Former Taita Taveta MP Naomi Shaban and Mount Kenya University founder and chairperson Simon Gicharu.

President William Ruto has appointed Mount Kenya University (MKU) chairperson Simon Gicharu to be the next chairperson of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).

Gicharu's term will be three years long effective from October 13, 2023; he will replace Professor Elishiba Njambi Kimani whose appointment was revoked.
