The family of Erick Macharia, a Kenyan living in Australia, is appealing for public assistance to locate him after he was reported missing.

As of today, March 12, Macharia has been missing for 10 days.

Australian police reports indicate that the 27-year-old was last seen on March 2, at a home on Fairmount Street in Australia.

“He has not been seen at home since that time, and has not attended work,” Australian police say.

It was discovered that he was missing about a week later and a police report was filed at Campsie Police Area Command.

“Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified about 8 pm yesterday (Wednesday 8 March 2023) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts. Police hold serious concerns for his welfare as this behavior is considered out of character,”

Erick is of African appearance, about 185cm tall with a slim build, and with dreadlocks.

His images and details have been shared on local area Police Force social media pages.

Macharia left Kenya for Australia a few years ago as a student in a foreign country.
