Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) has attributed a fuel leak on its Nakuru-Kisumu line at Koru in Muhoroni constituency to an illegal connection by an oil marketer.
The leak, which KPC said Sunday was brought to their attention on Friday, has since been repaired. KPC Managing Director Joe Sang said in a statement officials discovered an illegal connection with a network of pipes leading to a petrol station labelled Hess Energy Kenya some 100m away.
