Raila’s daughter and aspiring Kibera parliamentary seat contender, Rosemary hit headlines last week after it emerged she had been rushed to Aga Khan University hospital after complaining of a headache.
Rosemary was later transferred to the Nairobi hospital after doctors found out she had a tumor in her head. A condition which may lead to her having a surgery to remove the tumor.
Albeit the political activities happening all around with leaders trying to assert their positions ahead of the upcoming nominations, NARC-Kenya's leader and former Gichugu M.P Martha Karua took time to set their political differences aside and sent a warm get-well message to Rosemary Odinga who is currently in hospital.
"Get well soon my dear, I'm praying for you,"Karua wrote
With the state of the Kenyan medical sector still in worrying conditions, many are hoping for an amicable solution between the government and doctors so that healthcare services can resume to normal and Kenyans can receive quality medical treatment.
