NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has told the Supreme Court that the coalition is not expecting a 'two-minute' judgment on a petition challenging the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Amani National Congress party leader said in 2013, they were let down by the court when Dr Willy Mutunga, the then Chief Justice, read out the ruling in less than five minutes.

He said at the moment, all the country's hopes are pegged on Chief Justice David Maraga to oversee a free and fair hearing of their case.

"We feel passionately that justice will be served this time round because we have a tight case presented to the court," Mudavadi said when he attended the swearing-in ceremony of Vihiga Governor Wilbur Ottichilo at Kidundu grounds.
