Devout Catholics have been flocking to a family's home amid claims an image of the Virgin Mary appeared on their freshly-painted living room wall.

The image bears a resemblance to the Virgin of Guadalupe, an iconic picture housed in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Mexico City, Mexico.
