A woman with two wombs has told how she gave birth to a miracle baby daughter.
Jane was heartbroken when doctors told her she would have to resort to IVF to fulfill her dreams of becoming a mum.
Medics broke the news after a hospital scan revealed Jane was suffering from a condition called uterus didelphys - which meant she had two wombs and two cervixes.
Jane felt certain she would be unable to have a baby and adopted a ten-week-old puppy called Zak.
But a week before the first IVF appointment Jane went to her doctor feeling unwell - and was stunned to be told she was seven weeks pregnant.
She had 17 scans to ensure everything was fine during the 39-week pregnancy and daughter Grace was born.
Jubilant Jane, aged 40, said: “Grace made an entrance to the world in a storm with heavy rain, thunder and lightning, which started when I was asked to start pushing and ended abruptly 10 minutes later when she appeared.
“She was born 11 days after my 40th birthday and was the best 40th birthday present I could ever have asked for or dreamed of.
