Governors take referendum call to Nakuru

NAKURU COUNTY: Governors Isaac Ruto and Wycliffe Oparanya took the Pesa Mashinani campaigns to Nakuru County despite the so-called ban of such meetings in the region by Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.

Saturday’s meeting in Njoro constituency was however marred by protests by a group of youth who attempted to disrupt it. Mbugua had two weeks ago warned that no groups would be allowed to hold referendum meetings in his county.
