Police were yesterday holding an accountant at the South Imenti Constituency Development Fund office after a bank reported that faulty cheques had been presented for payment.
Police said the suspect was helping with investigations and that more suspects could be arrested. Cheques for Sh460,000 had been drawn by the CDF committee allegedly for the refurbishment of the local district commissioner's residence.
