
Felix Koskei is the new Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service in new appointments made by President William Ruto on Friday, October 14.
Outgoing Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua announced the changes in a press statement.
Koskei replaces Kinyua and will be deputised by former Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok, who was serving as the Director-General of William Ruto’s presidential campaigns.
Koskei served as the Agriculture Cabinet Secretary (CS) between April 2013 and March 2015, when he was suspended from office on allegations of corruption.
Former Kajiado South MP Katoo Ole Metito is the new State House Comptroller, replacing former Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.
Economist David Ndii will chair the President’s Council of Economic Advisors, with Mohammed Hassan and Dr Nancy Laibuni serving as members of the committee.
Former Treasury Principal Secretary Dr Kamau Thugge will be the Senior Advisor and Head of Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy.
Journalist Hussein Mohammed is the new State House Spokesperson, replacing Kanze Dena-Mararo, while David Mugonyi will head the Presidential Communications Service.
