It was all pomp and colour during Willis Raburu's son birthday when the journalist surprised his girlfriend with an engagement ring. The birthday party was attended by Nviiri the storyteller who seranaded Ivy with a song before Willis went down on one knee and proposed to her .He said,
"You are my love, you are my everything and it will give me great pleasure if you Ivy Namu would be my wife..." The elated guests clapped and celebrated the soon to be couple when Ivy accepted the marriage proposal.
