Super foods to delay greying hair

When Rael saw grey hair on her head, she was shocked, frightened, and felt like old age had crept upon her. But after pondering over the issue and talking to experts, she realised that grey hair has nothing to do with health. If she wanted to look youthful and energetic, all she had to do was take care of her skin, body, mind, and posture.

She embarked on a routine physical exercise and eating the right food. Today, Rael still gets people guessing her age to be in 20s, even though she recently turned 45. One time when I was getting my hair cut, the barber noticed some grey hair and said to me, “Wow, you must be one of those people who get grey hair at a real early age.”

“As far as I’m concerned, that’s a great compliment, because she had no clue I was actually approaching menopause,” she said.

Aging acceleration involves mass consumption of processed foods, such as white flour, refined white sugar, soft drinks, fried foods, hydrogenated oils, food additives and cigarettes. These include all the manufactured foods, convenience foods you find at a fast food restaurant or a grocery store. If you want to avoid hair loss and delay the greying, you’ve got to avoid eating all of these foods.

The next thing you can do to slow your biological aging is start supplementing with super-foods that also delay aging. They include greens, spirulina, micro-algae extracts such as astaxanthin, and of course broccoli. Fresh vegetables and berries such as blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries also slow aging. You can also eat a lot of garlic and ginger.

If you pursue this kind of diet, you will, in effect, begin to age far more slowly than everyone else around you. Ensure you are getting plenty of healthy oils in your diet, such as omega3 oils, salmon oils, and other fish oils. Make sure you get plenty of sunshine , too. Breathe fresh air and drink fresh, clean water on a regular basis.
