Dreams reignited as Shiekh Khalifa triumps

Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nayhan Secondary School in Mombasa topped last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations in Coast Province.

The school had six students in the top 10 and 32 in the top 100 of the province’s exam candidates.

Some students shared their dreams with Teen Stars.

Mohammed Abdulkarim Hussein managed a B plain.

"I am overjoyed at my performance. However, I failed in Kiswahili — I got D plain although I really worked hard in the subject," he says.

Hussein wants to be a pharmacist.

"I suffer from diabetes and hope to find a cure for it," he says.

Amina Salim was number seven in the province with 86.7443 marks.

"I love children and want to be a paediatrician," she says.

Fazal Abdulaziz garnered an A minus of 79.4171 marks, placing him 42nd in Coast.

"I want to do medicine. If I don’t get into medical school as a regular student, I will opt for a parallel degree programme. If these options fail, I will study journalism," he says.
