Record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia will be seeking to close the gap between them and leaders Kakamega Homeboyz to within three points when they host Bidco United in a midweek FKF Premier League to be staged at MISC Kasarani on Wednesday.

Gor head into the match behind their recent two consecutive victories against Mathare United and newbies FC Talanta.

Currently third in the log with 25 points, a win for K’Ogalo will see them move temporarily second in the log.

Bidco head into the match behind their 1-1 draw with Sofapaka and will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways.

However, Gor also head into the match with a better head to head record after beating Bidco 3-1 and drawing 1-1 last season.

At Nyayo Stadium, Kenya Police will be banking on the form of FKF Premier League top scorer Clifton Miheso to lift them past struggling Ulinzi Stars who have struggled in their past three matches.

Miheso leads the race to win the 2021-2022 Golden boot award with nine goals and John 'Bobby' Ogolla would be hoping to stretch their seven match unbeaten run.

Police have not lost in their seven last encounters and sit in the ninth position on 21 points from 14 rounds.

Ulinzi Stars have registered mixed results this season and are winless in their past three matches. They sit 12th on the log on 16 points from 12 matches.

In Thika, last season’s runners up KCB would be hoping to put behind their recent poor form when they travel to play a tricky Posta rangers side.

KCB have lost their last two matches which saw them surrender their lead atop the log to Homeboyz in the past one week.

Rangers on the other side are unbeaten in their last six matches and will pose a threat to the bankers.

Other matches will feature Sofapaka host Kariobangi Sharks at Wundanyi as Nzoia Sugar welcome Talanta in Bungoma.
