AFC face Sharks as KCB, Homeboyz clash in top of table tie

AFC Leopards will be looking for their fourth win of the season when they face wounded Kariobangi Sharks in today’s FKF Premier League match at Kasarani Annex.

Ingwe are unbeaten in their last six matches but have only registered two wins in the process leaving them five points above the relegation zone. 

Sharks lost 1-0 to league leaders Homeboyz last weekend and will be seeking to bounce back and return to the top four.

Relegation threatened Mathare United on the other hand will be hoping to end their eight-match losing streak when they host newbies Kenya Police.

Tomorrow, defending champions Tusker will be aiming to recover from their disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Posta Rangers when they welcome Nairobi City Stars at Ruaraka Grounds.

Record champions Gor Mahia will also be in action against Ken Kenyatta’s Talanta.

However, the highlight of the weekend will be the battle for top spot between Homeboyz and second placed KCB at Kasarani.

The two sides are only separated by three points ahead of the eagerly awaited match. While Homeboyz beat Sharks 1-0 to take their points tally to 28, the bankers fell 1-0 to Bidco United last weekend.
