Nakuru Queens to face Vickers Queens in the semifinals of the FKF Women Premier League

Nakuru Queens face Vickers Queens of Thika in the semifinals of the Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League at ASK  Nakuru Showground on Friday.

The two teams made it to the last four after winning their quarterfinal matches over the weekend.

Nakuru Queens dismissed Ulinzi Starlets 5-4 on post-match penalties after the two teams tied to a two all draw at the regulation time at ASK Nakuru Show-ground on Saturday.

Queens scored their first goal in the 10th minute (Becky Akinyi) before Nelly Atieno equalised in the 34th minute for Ulinzi Starlets.

Atieno was on the mark in the 43rd minute with a header to ensure the women soldiers led 2-1 at half time.

The goal that ensured the two teams proceeded to the penalty shootouts was scored by Mellon Mulindi in the 74th minute for Nakuru Queens.
